New Hampshire Estate Planning Council

Welcome to the official website of the New Hampshire Estate Planning Council. If you’re looking for an estate planner, you’ve come to the right place. Our organization can connect you with an estate planner who has been recognized, earned credentials and is a member in good standing of our local council.

We maintain a database of our members in order to help simplify your search for a qualified estate planner; please see the member directory. Most members adhere to the concept of the team approach in estate planning so your plan may be considered by a team of professionals of your choosing.

If you are an estate planning professional, who is not yet a member, we extend an invitation to you to learn more about our local estate planning council and our membership of just under 200 members. Local estate planning councils are required to have members representing, at minimum, the four primary disciplines of attorney, accountant, trust officer and life underwriter. Councils, like New Hampshire’s include other disciplines such as financial planners and planned giving specialists. We believe that maintaining a membership in an affiliated local council is critical to your professional development and we encourage you to join.

The council has posted the latest information on upcoming meetings and events. In addition, information pertaining to meeting sponsorship, website advertising and vendor display tables is available by clicking on the "Documents" button on the left side of this page. This will provide you and your firm with the opportunity to be recognized by our members.

Any current member may sponsor a new member or bring a guest to a meeting. A membership application is available for printing from this website by clicking on "Application Form" or by calling our administrative offices at 603-228-1231.

I look forward to your active participation at upcoming meetings and to being your President during 2015-2016.

 Best regards,

Megan C. Neal, Esq.
President, NHEPC
