Marie will present a focused guide to fine art as an estate asset - from building and managing a collection to disposition strategies, tax considerations, and preserving family harmony across generations.
Marie St. Germain is Director of Private Sales at Arcadia Art Consultancy, where she specializes in the valuation, appraisal, and strategic divestment of fine art and high-value personal property within estate and wealth planning contexts. She works closely with estate planning attorneys, fiduciaries, wealth managers, and collectors to help integrate art assets into broader tax, liquidity, and legacy strategies.
Prior to joining Arcadia, Marie advised collectors and estates through her independent advisory practice and previously held positions with Heather James Fine Art and Galerie d’Orsay. She holds a degree in Art History and French from the University of New Hampshire, studied Modern Art in Paris through Columbia University, and is USPAP compliant through the Appraisers Association of America.
