Welcome to the website of the New Hampshire Estate Planning Council. If you are looking for an estate planner, you’ve come to the right place. The Council can connect you with an estate planner who is a member in good standing with our local council.

We maintain a database of our members in order to help simplify your search for a qualified estate planner; please see the Member Directory tab. Most members adhere to the concept of the team approach in estate planning so your plan may be considered by a team of professionals of your choosing.

If you are an estate planning professional, who is not yet a member, we extend an invitation to you to learn more about our local estate planning council which has a membership of 170 professionals. Local estate planning councils are required to have members representing, at minimum, four primary disciplines:   attorneys, accountants, trust officers and life underwriter/financial planning professional. The Council also includes other related disciplines such as non-profit development and planned giving specialists. We believe that maintaining a membership in an affiliated local council is critical to your professional development and we encourage you to join.

The Council has posted the dates for 2023-2024 meetings with the locations to be confirmed shortly. Information pertaining to meeting sponsorship and website advertising for the 2023-2024 program year will be available soon by clicking on the "Documents" button on the left side of this page. This will provide you and your firm with the opportunity to gain exposure to our members.

Any current member may sponsor a new member or bring a guest to a meeting. A membership application is available for printing from this website in the "Document Library" (check "About" on the menus bar above) or interested parties may now use the Interactive Membership Application available on this website.  Questions may be directed to our administrative offices at 603-228-1231.

I look forward to your active participation at upcoming meetings and to being your President during 2023-2024.

 Best regards,

Janelle Sartorio,CTFA
